eClerx Services Ltd. (eCx), India’s first publicly-listed KPO company, today repoted a 51 per cent jump in its revenue for fiscal 2009 at Rs 193.2 crore.
eClerx, provider of data analytics and customized process solutions to global enterprise clients from its offshore delivery centres in India report a net profit of Rs 61.8 crores, up by 39 per cent from the previous year.
The company had a total staff strength of 1,973, growing 29 per cent year on year.
Commenting on the results, eClerx Executive Director P D Mundhra said the company had come out with a strong performance despite the challenging global environment.
Revenues and profits of the firm have grown by 51 and 39 per cent Year-on-Year basis, despite one of its top five clients filing for bankruptcy in September 2008.
