It's time to spread your Tweets outside Twitter. Marissa Mayer, Google Vice President of Search Products and User Experience announced that Google have reached an agreement with Twitter to include their updates in Google search results. It means if you search for real-time subjects, you'll also find tweets from other users who are sharing the latest and greatest information about the subject.
Google look at Twitter not only as a way for people to communicate their thoughts and feelings, but also as an useful and interesting source of real-time updated data about what is happening right now in regard to a particular topic - even only in 140 characters long.
The next time you search for real-time information in Google, i.e weather condition at your weekend destination place or LA Lakers latest score, you'll also find tweets from users who are sharing the latest information related to your search, alongside with regular (web) search result.
