Vijaya Bank opens 46th branch in Gujarat

Vijaya Bank opened its 46th branch in Gujarat and its 1102 branch in the country today at the Science City in Ahmedabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Bank Chairman and Managing Director Albert Tauro said ''Bank's major focus was on the retail clients and hence it had been expanding its geographical reach, especially in states such as Gujarat,''. The bank was planning to open one more branch at Nadiad soon, he added.

''Focus on branch banking and online delivery channels would help the Bank to achieve the year-end goal of Rs.1,10,000 crore under aggregate business,'' he further stated.
