Suryachakra Power to set up 50 MW solar project

Suryachakra Power Corporation Ltd today said its wholly-owned subsidiary will set up a 50 MW solar thermal power project in Gujarat.

The unit-- Suryachakra Power Venture Pvt Ltd-- has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Department of Energy and Petrochemicals, Gujarat Government towards this effect, it said in a statement.

However, it did not divulge any financial details.
