National Insurance Company today said Mr N S R Chandraprasad has taken over as Chairman cum Managing Director of the firm.
Before joining National Insurance, Mr Chandraprasad has served as Director and General Manager of New India Assurance Company Ltd, the company said in a statement.
Mr Chandraprasad joined the general insurance industry in 1978 as an Assistant Administrative Officer of GIC of India and after a year, he joined New India Assurance Company Ltd.
