Shares in Dewan Housing Finance Corp Ltd today spurted up around 7.75 per cent to Rs 147.50 at noon session on BSE on reports of its board approving raise of funds up to Rs 300 crore via institutional placement.
The board also approved issuing of shares up to Rs 1 crore with promoters on a preferential basis. The shares are likely to cross Rs 200 in the coming days due to strong fundamentals, brokers said.
