Dabur Glucose to sponsor ICL Mumbai Team

Dabur Glucose, one of the fastest growing brands from the stables of leading Indian FMCG Company Dabur India Ltd, today announced its association with the Indian Cricket League (ICL) as the sponsor for the ICL Mumbai Team and the 'Energy Partner' for the upcoming ICL tournament, starting March 9th, 2008.

As part of the partnership with ICL, Dabur Glucose will also felicitate players with the titles of 'Dabur Glucose Most Energetic Player of the Match' and 'Dabur Glucose Most Energetic Player of the tournament' awards.

To be held between March 9th and April 8th, the tournament promises 30-days of non-stop pulsating cricket, which will be held across three cities – Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Gurgaon. Dabur Glucose-sponsored Mumbai Champs is led by legendary West Indies batsman Brain Lara as the captain. The other players in the team are Nathan Astle from New Zealand, South African batsman Johan Van der Wath, Tino Best from West Indies and the accurate Michel Kasprowicz. With promising all-rounder Robin Morris and Kiran Powar, and the in-form batsman Dheeraj Jadhav in its lineup, Dabur Glucose Mumbai Champs look all set to scale new highs in the Indian Cricket League.
