Venoco, Inc. (NYSE:VQ) today announced that Mark DePuy, Executive Vice President and COO, will be making a presentation at EnerCom's Oilservice and International E&P Conference VI on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 1:05 p.m. Eastern Time (10:05 a.m. Pacific).
The presentation slides will be available after market close on Wednesday, February 20th via the Investor Relations page of the company website - http://www.venocoinc.com/. The presentation will be webcast live and accessible using the following link, (which will also be available via the company's website) http://www.investorcalendar.com/CEPage.asp?ID=125846.
The company also stated that it is correcting a preliminary reserve number for the Hastings Complex included in its presentation at the February 5, 2008 Credit Suisse Energy Summit. That presentation stated that the preliminary estimate of the proved reserves associated with the company's interest in the Hastings Complex as of December 31, 2007 was 15.8 MMBOE. The correct amount is 14.4 MMBOE. The preliminary estimate of the company's total proved reserves as of December 31, 2007, 99.9 MMBOE, is not affected by this correction. The company will correct the version of the presentation currently posted on its website.
Venoco is an independent energy company primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploitation and development of oil and natural gas properties in California and Texas. Venoco operates three offshore platforms in the Santa Barbara Channel, has non-operated interests in three other platforms, operates three onshore properties in Southern California, has extensive operations in Northern California's Sacramento Basin and operates eighteen fields in Texas.
