Clover Farmstead Butter Hits Retail Shelves With Big Excitement

Clover Farmstead Butter hits retail shelves with big excitement. This European style butter is made with organic milk from a small dairy in the coastal hills of Sonoma County.
Clover Farmstead Butter starts with the best quality milk. The organic milk is cold-separated to ensure the quality of the butterfat in the cream; the cream is then pasteurized in a small vat for a richer flavor; then tumble churned in small batches to achieve the right texture; organic sea salt from the Sea of Brittany in France is then added; and finally the butter is hand packed in ceramic crocks and sealed.

The small buttery that produces Clover Farmstead Butter is part of St. Anthony Farm, and is powered by a methane digester. By regenerating the methane gases that come from the cows' manure on the farm, the buttery is able to create its own energy and not have to rely on PG&E for power.
St. Anthony Farm is part of St. Anthony Foundation of San Francisco. The farm provides a safe, supportive, and structured environment for those recovering from a drug or alcohol addiction.
Clover Farmstead Butter is the latest release in organic products from Clover Organic Farms. Like all of Clover's products, customers can trust the cows are from dairies that are American Humane Certified, the milk is from cows that are not treated with the artificial growth hormone rBST, and none of Clover's cows are clones.
Clover Organic Farms is a three generation family owned and operated dairy processing plant located in Petaluma. You can enjoy Clover products in good conscience and in good heath.
