C
oreNet Global, the world's leading association for corporate real estate professionals, today announced that some of the best minds in commercial realty, government and academia, have confirmed their participation as Keynote Speakers at the organization's 2008 Asia Summit scheduled to take place in Mumbai on March 3-5.

Now in its sixth year, the three day summit, to be held at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, is being positioned as a conduit for discussions regarding 'talent management in corporate real estate' -- a timely issue given the current skill shortage faced by the commercial realty industry across the region.

Mr. K V Kamath, Managing Director & CEO, ICICI Bank Limited has confirmed to address the conference which is expected to attract over 400 real estate professionals from the United States, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

Opening plenaries will also include keynotes from Dr. Yuwa Hendrick-Wong, an economist, business strategist and communicator with over 25 years experience who will discuss the relationship between 'quality of life' and the capacity of the world's cities to attract global talent.

Mr. Adit Jain, an advisor to multinational companies on India strategy will also offer perspectives on the eco-political environment in India, plus growth challenges for domestic and international enterprises.

Commenting on the programme, Mr. Rajnikant Agrawal, Chair of the India Chapter for CoreNet Global, emphasized that the comprehensive agenda would touch on a wide variety of inter-related realty and talent management issues.

"For example, delegates will have the option to attend specific educational tracks focusing on subjects that range from Talent in Asia to Resource Optimization, Workplace Strategy and Design, and Sustainability."

In addition, Mr. Agrawal notes that both delegate and sponsor interest has been very strong. "Based on current registrations, we are expecting over 135 organizations from across the corporate real estate and related industries to be represented at the event."

In terms of sponsorship, Mr. Agrawal highlighted that companies including CB Richard Ellis, Cherry Hill, Cityinfo, Colliers International, Cresa Partners, Cushman & Wakefield, DivyaSree Developers, DTZ, GVA Worldwide, Haworth, Johnson Controls, Jones Lang LaSalle, K Raheja Corporation, LseMod, Panchshil, PRA Realty, Qube Global Software, RMZ Corporation, Siemens, Shui On Land Steelcase, Tandus and TSI Ventures had all committed their support.

"Subsequently, the Summit provides an excellent opportunity to meet regional and international leaders in the corporate realty profession, and to network with peers from around the world," concludes Mr. Agrawal.
