Ricoh Wins Gold at 2007 DMA International ECHO Awards

Ricoh Americas Corporation announced today that the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has awarded its direct sales division, Ricoh Business Solutions, a gold international ECHO award for its document solutions campaign in the Business and Consumer Services category. Additionally, Ricoh Business Solutions was named a "Diamond Contender" for having one of the top six marketing campaigns throughout all categories and industries.

DMA International ECHO awards honor the growing influence of multi-channel direct marketing on the global marketing landscape. DMA presented a total of 130 ECHO awards to multi-channel direct marketing campaigns from the U.S. and 37 other nations.

"Ricoh Business Solutions is honored to be recognized by DMA as implementing one of the top marketing campaigns for business and consumer services," said Dominic Pontrelli, vice president, Direct Marketing, Ricoh U.S., a division of Ricoh Americas Corporation. Ricoh Business Solutions won gold in the Business and Consumer Services category for the creativity, strategy, and quantifiable results of its document solutions campaign. The campaign featured 2,000 personalized book jackets in which each recipient was displayed as the author. As a result, three hundred direct prospects responded with requests for face-to-face appointments producing a 15 percent response rate. Ricoh was presented the award during the DMA'07 Conference & Exhibition.
