China Sourcing Fair Exhibitors Donate Three Truckloads of New Product Samples to Charity

More than 70 exhibitors participated in Global Sources' (NASDAQ:GSOL) China Sourcing Fairs ( http://www.chinasourcingfair.com/ ) Care & Share charity program held in October, donating three truckloads of display samples to people in need. Non-profit Crossroads International plans to distribute the items to people affected by natural disasters, conflict and in economically-depressed communities.
Display samples were donated by exhibitors following the fall China Sourcing Fairs: Gifts & Home Products, Electronics & Components, Fashion Accessories and Underwear & Swimwear held at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. Exhibitors donated products ranging from baby and children's products and toys to household electronics and furniture.

Global Sources' Chairman and CEO, Merle A. Hinrichs, said: "Our participation in the Care & Share program is one of the many activities we are involved with to give back to communities through charity and education.

"But the real stars of this program are the China Sourcing Fair exhibitors who donated their samples -- some valued at thousands of dollars -- to help those less fortunate."

Director of Crossroads International, Sally Begbie, said: "We're thankful to Global Sources and its exhibitors for their generosity. Over the past two years, the Care & Share program has helped many people around the world by providing the kinds of items they need them."
