BMW CEO says no decision to create fourth brand in company portfolio

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG has not made a decision to build up a fourth car brand, chief executive Norbert Reithofer told Euro Finanzen in an article to be published on Wednesday.

'At this point of time, there is no decision to build up a fourth brand. That is merely an option,' he said.

However, Reithofer said that the company is 'intensively' thinking about new concepts.

BMW's brand portfolio is currently consisting of Mini, Rolls-Royce (other-otc: RYCEY.PK - news - people ) and BMW.
