Belarc's Products Now Available to U.S. Department of Defense Under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)

Belarc, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (DoD ESI) Blanket Purchase Agreement (W91QUZ-07-A-0005) for IT Asset Management software, maintenance and services. This BPA was initiated by the U.S. Army Small Computer Program (ASCP).

"This BPA will make Belarc's products even more cost effective for our enterprise customers such as the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Coast Guard", said Ray Thorn, Federal Government Sales Manager. "In addition it will make it easier for other DoD Services, Agencies and contractors to license our products."

The BPA will be managed under the DoD ESI program by ASCP. The DoD ESI is a joint project designed to implement a software enterprise management process within DoD. By pooling commercial software requirements and presenting a single negotiating position to leading software vendors, ESI provides pricing advantages not otherwise available to individual Services and Agencies.
