ACCESS to Showcase Support for Web 2.0 at Mobile Internet World

* ACCESS Systems Americas COO to deliver keynote address

* Session sponsor: 'Is an Open Platform the Future of the Mobile Internet?'

Underscoring its theme of "Open Internet, Open Platform: Open Opportunities," ACCESS CO., LTD., a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile and beyond-PC markets, is showcasing products and technologies at Mobile Internet World (November 13-15, 2007) that demonstrate continued innovation in supporting an open Internet and an open platform for mobile and converged devices. The ACCESS exhibit will feature demonstrations of the company's award-winning NetFront(TM) Browser support for Web 2.0, available immediately to customers and licensees, as well as ACCESS Linux Platform(TM), an integrated, commercial-grade Linux(R)-based platform for mobile devices.

Kiyo Oishi, executive officer for ACCESS and recently named chief operating officer for ACCESS Systems Americas, Inc. will deliver a luncheon keynote on November 14 that addresses how the mobile browser and mobile Linux-based platform will impact the open Internet ecosystem -- from next-generation network infrastructure to IP-based, content-rich communications services for billions of open Internet-capable converged devices.

Immediately following the keynote, ACCESS is sponsoring a special session, "Is an Open Platform the Future of the Mobile Internet?" Featuring a panel of major players in the mobile industry, this discussion will center on open-source's position as a remedy for long-standing barriers to innovation in the mobile universe.

"The market today is moving toward a full Internet experience for mobile devices, bringing Web 2.0 to mobile handhelds, set-top boxes and other converged devices," said Oishi. "An open platform and an open Internet are key to this convergence, and ACCESS is providing software solutions that will enable its growth. Our flexible business strategy -- to work with all parties in the ecosystem, including operators, device makers, silicon and middleware vendors and ISVs -- allows ACCESS to provide the customization our partners need to strengthen their individual brands and differentiation."

Featured at the ACCESS booth will be advanced browser innovations by Bytemobile and Realeyes3D, both members of the ACCESS(TM) Connect Ecosystem (ACE) Global Partner Program. Bytemobile's Embedded Browser Optimization (EBO) technology allows for faster full Internet page downloads and improves download performance by up to four times. Realeyes3D's camera-based motion-controlled panning and zooming Motionized(TM) technology powers the Smart Swing Navi feature of ACCESS' newest NetFront Browser v3.5, making it possible for users to scroll and zoom into web pages by tilting the screen vertically and horizontally.

Other NetFront Browser technologies on display include
* NetFront(TM) Browser Widgets, a comprehensive widgets application
framework that supports the creation and use of dynamic Web
applications (such as Google Maps, YouTube, Flickr, Wikipedia, Amazon
and Gmail) based on open standard Web technologies like HTML, CSS and
JavaScript,
* User Experience Evolutions, including Visual Bookmarks -- an intuitive
graphical solution to managing favorite webpages, PagePilot -- a pan
and zoom navigation tool for the desktop, Smart Slider Menu -- a
shortcut bar that lets users select functions easily and quickly, and
Smart Fit Rendering -- a NetFront Browser feature that intelligently
adapts standard Web pages to the screen width of any mobile device,
* NetFront(TM) Living Connect, based on the DLNA standard, which enables
users to move digital media among multiple devices and access their
digital life anytime, anywhere,
* NetFront Browser supporting BML (Broadcast Markup Language) for
delivering interactive television content through set-top boxes, and
* NetFront Browser on a VOIP phone, in BREW, native RTOS and Windows
Mobile.

ACCESS is at Booth #101, Mobile Internet World, Hynes Convention Center, Boston.

The luncheon keynote, "Open Internet, Open Platform: Open Opportunities," takes place on November 14 from 12:15pm -1:00pm in the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. The special session, "Is An Open Platform the Future of the Mobile Internet?" follows immediately at 1:00pm in the same room.
